Carol Coyle, shown with America in Bloom President Kathy Moss Warner, receives her award as a nominee for the John R. Holmes Community Champion Award.

Coyle was nominated by the City of McCall in recognition of  her efforts toward community enhancement.   Coyle has served as the Grants & Special Projects Coordinator for the City since 2001.  In that time, the City has received over $8 million in grant funding for projects to include public art, historic preservation, water and air quality improvements, streetscape improvements, pathway development, public park development, urban forestry, library and law enforcement programs, and downtown revitalization.

Coyle is the City staff liaison to the McCall Improvement Committee. The MIC has sponsored McCall as a participant in the America in Bloom contest five times. McCall won its population category two times (2012, 2014) and was the Environmental Awareness criteria winner in 2011. These successes helped McCall achieve Circle of Champions recognition in 2014.
