The Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC) is proud to introduce the Certified Green Business program.  Brochures will be hand-delivered by EAC committee members to local businesses beginning soon.  To become a Certified Green Business in McCall, business owners will need to submit a written statement addressing 10 environmentally friendly practices.
These practices insealclude:
•    Using green certified products for janitorial operations
•    Energy-star appliances
•    reducing water consumption
•    tracking utility consumption
•    initiating a company environmental policy
•    noxious weeds free property and more.
Free applications will be reviewed by the EAC each month.  Approved members of the Certified Green Business program can proudly display a window decal, letting customers know they are making a conscience effort to reduce their business carbon footprint.
Other benefits include lowered resource consumption, self-promotion as a responsible business leader in our community and the pride of helping to keep McCall clean and healthy.
