Screening of “McCall Idaho, An Early History”

As a part of Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month, the McCall Historic Preservation Commission will host the first screening of a new documentary showcasing the early history of McCall. “McCall Idaho, An Early History” will be shown at the McCall Public Library, May 7th, at 6:30pm.
The documentary is a 30-minute compilation of historic photographs with a narrative that describes the founding and development of McCall beginning with the first Native American inhabitants.
The screening is free and members of the McCall Historic Preservation Commission will be there to answer your questions regarding the making of the documentary, and other efforts to preserve the heritage of our community.

Noxious Weed Awareness Program

Join us for an informative lecture by members of the City of McCall and the Upper Payette Cooperative Weed Management Association. Participants will learn about the variety of noxious weeds affecting the McCall area, and control efforts. There will also be time for Q&A and discussion following the lecture.
